About the job

We are looking for a chemist to join our team in Malmö. This position is well-suited for a recent graduate, but candidates with relevant work experience are also encouraged to apply.

The work primarily focuses on formulation development within personal care and industrial chemical products. The formulation work is mainly based on raw materials produced by our European suppliers and distributed to customers throughout the Nordic region.

Additionally, the work places great emphasis on regulatory aspects, including the creation and updating of safety data sheets and other documentation.

Main responsibilities

• Development and optimization of formulations based on suppliers' raw materials

• Laboratory work related to product development and technical problem-solving

• Work related to product safety and safety data sheets (SDS)

• Close collaboration with product managers and customers throughout the Nordic region

• Providing technical advice and application support to customers

• Handling samples and sample deliveries

• Use and maintenance of the company's product safety system

Qualifications

• University degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field

• Recent graduate or with a few years of relevant experience

• Experience in formulation development is an advantage

• Knowledge of product safety and SDS preparation is a plus

Vendico Chemical AB is based in Malmö and specializes in the distribution of raw materials to the Nordic chemical industry. We represent around 20 European producers and operate in an international environment.
